I've read somewhere that the inversion can be made chemically, but I don't know more, but it seems interesting for portrait.Would this be a research project or is there a known technique

I was going to recommend the paper film, film washi, and then I saw someone already posted about this on the forum.
In case you didnīt read about it.

It is orthochromatic film coating on thin washi paper. Gives nice fiber in the printed enlargements.
I met the frenchman who makes it this autumn, at Paris photo. He makes 4x5 and 120 sizes.
if you want papernegatives in a smaller size that really gives a papery-feeling in the prints.
