Here's one from last monday. Velvet light time. Yes that's me next to the Ford. A friend pushed the plunger for me. Lens was an 8 1/4 Velo that I modified to work like the bigger ones with the fuzz-u-lator.

Every year I attend the Annual Hot Rod Reunion in Bakersfield, CA to enjoy the sights and sounds of vintage cars, racing and speed. I am slowly getting caught up with processing these images. Here are two that were shot on the 1910 Auto Graflex SLR.

Nice work Scott. Nice treatment on the final output. This is a look I'd love to be able to achieve, especially the last one.

Thank you. Not that difficult, really. These were both shot hand held on a 4x5 Graflex SLR. Digital (gasp) post.

My wife is a Carioca - we spent a couple of months wandering around Rio, Parati, Ouro Preto, and Salvador in 1996. I took a lot of large format pictures but my hotel development was often less than successful (in extreme cases the emulsion fell off!), and the adapters I made to use film in holders made for glass weren't all focussed/ positioned correctly. Aye well, tudo bem!
