Ditto on what Don said. Schedule it for late spring or into summer when it's alive and rampant.
I was in Chattanooga the other day noticing that I can now see some of the power poles and fences that are usually covered in the summer.

Years ago I worked on an archaeology site that was about 50 miles south of Tuscaloosa, near the Black Warrior river (Mississippian and Woodland period stuff). That was a prime kudzu area. Also, plenty of abandoned buildings - kudzu loves abandoned buildings.
I believe that dear Charles Kuralt one prophecied that Kudzu and hard-shell Baptists were going to take over the world!
