    This is one of my first images I took using 4x5. Ilford D100, Toyo 4x5 monorail, 210 G-Claron at like f/9 or something. At night, no moon in Holbrook, AZ. I totally guessed at the exposure in some sense. I metered off what I could, then applied reciprocity (I think) and got this image.

    I wish my exposure estimates came out as well as this one.

    Very nice image. Modest tightening suggestion. I would recommend the right side of the image end at the beginning of the road (include the house in the background) and the left side just past the opening in the fence. Ensures that the eye stays dominantly with the gas station. My eye wants to go down the road to the right side of the image as always tends to happen with roads. Just my $0.02.

    I appreciate your input. Personally, I feel the inclusion of the car adds to the ambiance of the scene.
    Nonetheless, I respect varied tastes in composition. Here's a tighter crop, consistent with the 6x17 format, for your consideration.
