The interior of a working grist mill (corn mill) in the Pioneer Village at Spring Mill State Park, IN from this past weekend. The mill is water powered and the curve of the massive water wheel is just visible through the near window. They grind corn every hour on the hour and sell the corn meal.

    On 4x5 TMY-2 through a Schneider 110XL at f/32 for 32 sec.

    Souped in DD-X 1+4 for 4min 11sec.

I really like that shot! The tones are beautiful. It's something I would buy a print of.

Nicely done! Plus, we don't often get to have nice views of taintor gates around here--always a treat to see.

This is my first photograph with "my" new Wollensak 11 ½ inch Verito at F4, made with my 810 Deardoff at half frame, 5 x 8. It is a shed with old farm equipment at Stone Mountain State Park in North Carolina. I am not close to mastering the Jim Galli method for exposure, but can use the lens caps method for one + second exposure, used for this shot.
After years and dollars to make the sharpest photographs possible, I really like the look from the old lens I am trying to use today.

Here's another from Spring Mill State Park. This is the water wheel from the grist mill that turns all the machinery shown in my previous interior photo. Nothing out of the ordinary on exposure or development. 4x5 TMY-2 in DD-X with a 110XL lens.
