I can't believe it's X-ray film!
Can you tell me a little more about your process
Was it a long exposure?
Was it photoshopped?
Did you cut down a piece of 11x14 ?
How do you develop?
Amazing stuff serge
through a glass darkly...
Sergei your lighting is superb and the model to. I like it very much.
Armin
Thank you.
- its exact size, 8x10. I didnt cut down 11x14.. (i am very very much tempted with larger camera though.. but then i know i cant scan it so its a good stopper )
- its actually a mix of exposures. main lighting is done by elinchrom heads, but b/c shutter isnt synchronized and used on B - it obviously drags in some of tracking modeling light.
- yes, i always retouch images to remove dust and do a bit of d&b when needed. In this case chair was pulled up a bit, it was a tad more shadowed in scan. Sharpening is done by frequency separation.
- details on development are in Xray thread. There are many people who sharing their experiments, actually . I didnt quite expected this film to respond so well.. i bought pack just to do some short experimenting with higher contrast yeld.. But it turns out that it works quite well with my lighting style and renders range quite well.
thank you, Armin
