    It was Manual mode because I always use M for consistency.

    I did not yet (now I'm in the office) but I shall do it. Still the Skyport won't react by itself, it had to be a signal coming from the Copal when the shutter was closed. The strobes occur immediately after the shutter is opened and just before it is closed.

    I have no problem using my CyberSyncs with my three lenses. I double check that they sync by pointing a flash directly at the camera (on low power) and looking through the back of the camera as I trip the shutter. I see the flash come through. I hook the CyberSync CST to the PC post on the shutter, and the CyberSync CRSB to the flash. One of my lenses has both "X" and "M" position for sync. I use "X" of course. Have not seen the double flash thing. Maybe your shutter is firing on both M and X?
