I recently printed these (oops, it's four now, can't change thread title!) images after a long spell of no-darkroom time. To be honest, I am still finding my feet with a view camera (being used to 35mm and medium format) but the process, and the end results, are certainly enjoyable. I simply wanted to share these in the image forum, C&C welcome.
"Sandals, Watering cans and Sunlight"
(Ilford HP5+ - 4x5in, Schneider Apo-Symmar 150mm at f/5.6, 8x10in analogue print on Ilford MG IV)
"River Bed (haha)"
(Ilford Technical Line Film @ ISO6 - 4x5in, Schneider Convertible Symmar 150mm at f/22.0, 8x10in analogue print on Ilford MG IV)
"Tree and Rock"
(Ilford HP5+ - 4x5in, Schneider Convertible Symmar 150mm at f/22, 8x10in analogue print on Ilford MG IV)
"Fern Valley, Knysna"
(Ilford HP5+ - 4x5in, Schneider Apo-Symmar 150mm at f/32, 8x10in analogue print on Ilford MG IV)
Darn, it's hard to compose with a view camera. Everything looks so good on the ground glass, it actually stifles creativity and original composition!
I unfortunately have to make annoying small prints in order to fit them in my scanner, but I guess it's a cost-effective way of deciding which ones are worthy of printing bigger.
