I like all the stuff from the furnaces, the last one probably being my favorite - nice work, Dan.

Clearing storms this evening. I was hoping the sun would peek through the clouds near the bottom but it was not to be.

That walkway is so cool. Who built it?

It's a public walkway that was built by the DOC (Department of Conservation). You find such walkways all over NZ, mostly in swampy and/or protected areas.

I like the photo, too. It conveys the way I feel when using them to navigate our mid-west wetlands.

Really like your images of the furnace, I was there for a short couple of hours on a hot summer's day and would like to go back again. It was a nice walk down into the site, but it was a bit of a hike (at least for me) carrying my "stuff" back up the hill to the parking lot at the end of the day. Rangers were quite nice and there were no objections to my using a tripod.
