6x17 Images

Finally got a CF for my 72mm XL, so now I can properly shoot it on 6x17. Yesterday I went twice to Banks Lake, which is being drained to kill off some overgrowth or something like that, from what I understand. I was wearing my mud boots and stepping gingerly, but every once in a while I'd hit a pocket of air and sink a foot into the muck. Twice I had to leverage myself out with my tripod. I thought I was going to lose a boot!

Normally I would stay away from areas like that but it occurs to me that a pair of snow shoes might be the right accessory.

Yep I was thinking a couple of tennis rackets taped to my boots would be just what I needed. They don't sell snowshoes here!

Yes I used a combination of CF and Pola. And: it was my first shot with this camera .-)
