    Great perspective. I get the distinct impression that the trees are only a few inches tall.

    No, when you look at the trees in that back, the vines look like they are a meter [~yard] tall.

    How about one from the southern hemisphere?
    4x10", 210mm Symmar S, FP4 with an orange filter, toned in CS5.

    A group of trees in falling snow. Made at Kapelsche Veer in Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands. Scene of severe fighting during the winter of 1944/1945 (WW2). I used a Master Technika and a Sironar N 210mm ad f/32. Some postprocessing in Lightroom.

    Frank, I like this image! It's such a simple and efficient photo. Your comment of fighting makes it something different, but I'm not quite certain in what way.

    Two shots from a walk this very cold morning. We have lots of snow right now in Germany, the highest in decades.
