I spend a lot of time in the forests, canyons and on beaches and never see nudes lying around anywhere. Never seen a mountain goat, either. Must look harder.

I think it is an age thing. As a young man, one does not know how to look properly, in one's 30's one has the knowledge and keen sight to find them, and now in my older years, I find my eyes must not be what they use to be. None of those images of mine are very recent.

I enjoy a good debate, and I think this discussion is at least as meaningful as a lot of "Nice shot" posts, which add little of value beyond rudimentary approval. I'll never understand why some people insist that others refrain from discussions, however passionate, because it upsets them somehow.

It might be because the top of everyone's screen says "Critiques should only be offered if requested by the original poster."

Giving someone's work the fifth degree would seem to violate that simple forum rule, unless the poster has requested it.

I showed my small series of nudes in the redwoods to Linda Conner -- one of the toughest critics of such images as one could imagine. She laughed. I thought I got off quite easy...LOL!
