Randy,
Just curious if you would make/sell a print without removing dust from the neg or spotting the print? I cannot see how that improves an image.
If the dust had been removed, you would have never known it was there. It was just an interesting comment on a rather nice nude.

I don't sell and I don't spot when I have as fine a print as the one in question. I retouch major problems.
It looks perfect as is.
I often notice absolute perfection posted here, where there is no dust and I feel that detracts from...my appreciation.
This is not critique, the woman has reality in her skin, should that be gone as well?

#1 I'm lazy
#2 small 'imperfections not only don't bug.. I embrace them..notice how a background stand might creep into a pix... sure..I could crop that out or move the camera stand a bit but..
my aesthetic is: who we trying to fool here? we're not outdoors.. we are in some sweltering yurt in front of some discount ebay backdrop.. playing dress up and taking photos..in B&W (which in itself is a step away from reality).. so the background stands or the wrinkles in the backdrop or the dust spots don't phase me.. I don't go out of my way to put them there however..
now.. big things like waterdrop marks or scratches that detract from the image..I'll photoshop them away the best I can
and...if someone else's aesthetic is more of a perfectionist bent... more power too them..
there's plenty of room for everyone
oh... also.. I'm not selling prints..so that might factor into it too
