This is a very good example where the rule is broken and the photograph works out quiet well. Leigh would say that Ed is a master and I would quite agree.

I think that maybe Leigh and I's argument may be about splitting hairs.

To me this works because the legs are held together, and thus making an invincible line down... (difficult to explain)

Had the legs been apart she would look as if she was standing on her (amputated) knees...

This is a beautiful composition!

Many thanks, Leigh. I was surprised by how dark the sunflowers rendered. To rather nice effect here, although a regrettable loss of detail.

Here is an example of something I thought couldn't be done. This kind of tone and detail from Arista EDU 100 film (Fomapan 100). I came across a recipe for Pyrocat-MC at 1:2:100 and it works great (1:1:100 was blah).
