Great winter image. Love the way the jacket matches the bench.

    Very nice Frank and asph.

Frank, the second shot with the young is quite charming.

Frank, the second shot reminds me of "A Christmas Story." An all time favorite in our house.

Wonderful. I still can't get my little ones to stay in one place long enough to capture them with the 4x5!

How are you scanning these to get this size image; what dimensions are you uploading them at?

    Thanks

Sounds like you need a strobe! Even a Nikon speedlight can be enough.

Frank, great images... I never take enough photos when the snow is on the ground.

Really absolutely stunning work keeps being produced here. I'm in awe of the talent.

I don't know why I haven't posted this yet, but maybe it has something to do with my last statement. From the flickr blurb:

I've been shooting 4x5 for almost a year now, and at the same time, slowly building up the supplies necessary to process it myself. This isn't the first I've shot, in fact it's the (second) most recent, but it's the one that finally inspired me to get Blix splashed all over myself. It's also my favorite of the eight I developed.

Initially I was unsure of the cause of the stain in the top left, but subsequently have determined it came from inadequate agitation.

Speed Graphic, 135 Optar (wide open), expired NPS 160.

I'm considering cropping to square for the final version. The framing is a little unbalanced.
