Self portrait getting hit in the head

I don't generally use photography as an end result but mostly as photographic reference for my painting. The higher the rez the better for ref purposes. I had some hair brained idea that never materialized on canvas. I had this clamp really tight around my head, but it was so heavy, the thing gave away when I triggered the shutter. The photo is a far better proof of my hubris than any lame canvas could be.

    Portrait of Janet at 50.

My girlfriend asked me to shoot a few photos of her for the big 50 birthday. I must admit, she is THE most beautiful 50 year old woman I have ever seen. No surgery, no face lifts, fake boobs, tummy tucks etc. She comes from a family with a long line of beautiful women who were her ancestors. Grandma, Mom and Sister are stunning.

Anyhow Cooke PS945, expired pola 51. straight up nothing fancy. Im not a very good shutter clicker but am passable when need be.

George, your self portrait looks like 3 Stooges meets Animal House, sorry if that's not the entertainment comparisons you wanted. The girlfriend photo is very nice or course.

Scott; that's a killer portrait. With the dark tones and skin detail, it looks like you've been Karshed.

Okay, I'm not much of a portrait photographer but I had the good fortune to work with a great model. Shot with my Darlot wide open.
