It's my first self portrait. I hate photos of myself...I always seem to be on the other side of the camera (I know I ain't pretty).

It was extremely difficult shooting inside at f4 trying to reset myself in the focal plane after sensitizing the plate.

Holding the position for 13 seconds was a nightmare even with a headbrace. At least I know what I put others through now ;-)

Craig, whatever you went through, it was worth it. A wonder!

    That's incredible.
In Italy you would have automatically right of way everywhere, in Naples the
trash would step aside to pass you through, you'd be the ladie's hero in Milan,
the way you ride the scooter
    Believe an old trucker

I call these sorts of portraits "Charity-Hospital-Insurance Company Portraits" with the required sad doleful eyes... having done about a jillion of them over the years for exactly those kinds of clients.

    Dear Frank,

Charity or not, Adrienne's a beautiful woman, and that's a keeper...

    Well done.
