I only had one dealing with KEH and it was a very positive one. About a month ago I purchased a 180 mm APO Symmar rated as EX+; the condition of it in my view was mint. I won't hesitate to do business with them in the future.

I got my Schneider 210 APO Symmar from KEH. It was rated "EX" (not EX+). I was expecting some dings and marks, dust, and a few scratches, but the lens was brand spanking NEW.
I also bought my Horseman LS from KEH, and it's perfect, along with Riteway film holders. Everything is awesome from KEH.
I've bought a ton of new stuff from B&H, but for used stuff, I tend to only trust KEH over the used stuff at the big New York super stores.
Daniel,
To answer your original question, "Is KEH still a good place to buy?".
The answer is "Yes it is".
