Looking for ev compensation when using the stated filtera. Also what are these filtera equivalent to? Eg, is the p003 (red) equivalent to #25?

001 - Yellow filter: 1 stop
002 - Orange filter: 1.33 Stop
003 - Red filter: 3 stops
004: Green filter: 2 stops.
Yes, I believe that the Cokin 003 Red is equivalent to the wratten 25.

I've actually tested my Cokin filters with FP4+. Here are my results: http://www.philipmorgan.net/2008/11/...ters-with-fp4/

Apart from the red, what are the others equivalent to? Also is there an official cokin page that states the filter factors?
Louie, thanks for the link, very useful info.
I'd agree with philipmorg, there's nothing like testing your own. I believe Steve Simmons book "Using the View Camera" had a very similar chart in it.
Even B+W provides filter factors that, in my experience, are wildly unrealistic (erring on the side of underexposure) for orange and red filters. Testing can take very little time, and provide much more accurate filter factors.
