    Scanning & Printing "dr5" Positive Efke 25

    Scanning & Printing "dr5" Positive Efke 25

I am a HUGE fan of David Wood's "dr5 positive negative" process of Efke 25. The film is absolutely breathtaking on a light box. The resolution is just INCREDIBLE!! However I have never had a "dr5 chrome" scanned and/or printed (the chromes so far have been enough to give me a "photographic high").

    Any ideas/thoughts/experiences to share?

    Thanks!

    Robert

PS: A few of "us" ordered 11x14 Efke 25 last month - Emmalee at Freestyle says they will ship on approximately Nov 15 - can't wait!!

You could also try printing with the ilford positive paper.

Seems like you could just scan as a Slide and output to 16-bit gray TIFF. Vuescan lets you do that easily.

Why would you scan any different than a negative?
