Infrared Photography with Cokin P007?

1. Is the Cokin P007 any good?
2. What film would I need to use to register the Infrared?

The only "real IR-film" aviable today is the efke PL IR 820 Sheet film

To cut out any visible light and record only infrared you can use also your Cokin P007 filter.

There are some trafic surveillance films with extended red sensitivity aviable, like Rollei Infrared. But as mentioned before, the only real IR-film is made by Efke.

Sorry for digging up an old thread but I was researching IR film and photography here and this caught my eye. According to the Freestyle catalog, both Efke and Rollei have a peak sensitivity at 820 nm. So why is the Efke more "real IR" than the Rollei?
