    I missed the shot

So i was going to photograph a church in the setting sun last night, Got on location set up and composed with my 150mm lens and then decided to switch to a 210MM. Sun was now low on the horizon and the 150 was not the right lens. I unwrapped my 120 which just came back from having shutter adjusted and discovered the lens was not mounted on a lens board. Lens board at home! Sooooooo I had good laugh and went out for Ice Cream! There will be more sunsets!

    Re: I missed the shot

I went out to try to reshoot a pseudo-action shot last night. Blew 8 sheets hoping to catch the right moment only to find out my latest camera configuration had a big light leak. Now I only have 16 sheets of TMAX left for my upcoming vacation.

    Re: I missed the shot

Hiked up to Summerland in Mount Rainier NP to take some fall colors. Low and behold my the Synchro-Compur on my 135mm, works fine at room temperature but not at 45 degrees. The slow speeds just stopped. As I tried to setup another shot and get the shutter running, the fog rolled in. LF photography definetly requires you have all your ducks in a row.
