Hi
I've read quite a few places in here, that the gears on a manfrotto/bogen 410 head usually get stiff at some point... well, my head has reached that point - and I just got it back from repair, sigh.
Does any of you have suggestions as to how I lubricate or dismantle and lubricate the gears?

Grease? Graphite? Penetrating oil? What are the gears made out of? What does Manfrotto suggest? What does Frodo suggest?

There is an earlier thread about how to expose the gears to lube them or tighten the "slop".
