    Thank you!
I use big self made light source with energy savings lamps. My light source holds up to 10 lamps. Each lamp is 105W of input power , 6400K.
With such powerful lightinf I usually have 5-8 seconds of exposure at F/3-F/4

I my case I use Lowel Tota-lites but Arris or others would work just as well. These lights get hot and make everyone sweat, their pupils open up, it feels painful and intense just to shoot with them in the Summertime.
Thanks Frank for your "suggestion" and the wonderful portraiture job you shot il LF!
It's hard to tolerate that a so magnificent creativity belongs to so poor stuff.
I have some nice Profoto light equipment that I don't know how to use better...

Damn guys! September, kids are back to school, and as I see it, LF portraits have gone up a big notch here... There are some awesome shots! Hope I'll get something that I feel worthy of this September series...

I know what you mean. I'm not quite as open minded as I'd like to think I am at times.

I grew up with an abusive, alcoholic father and I guess the memories can never be completely erased in a lifetime.

Maybe I could see this in a different light If my past didn't cast such a dark shadow..

My mother survived but my father didn't. I've forgiven him

Cant remember the lens... The second one is probably Andre Plume's Lancaster meniscus lens.

Very nice, particularly the 2nd one. The DOF plus the positioning of the head makes the first one look like her head was added with Photoshop
