    Enlarger vibration info.

    Hello all...

This is not a question but just a bit of info because someone in the past asked a question about vibration with enlarger equipped with a fan. Last weekend I too k that cold light head out for cleaning and light bulb change (it's a Beseler 45 Universal). I discovered that the fan was mounted on a special rubberized frame and also equipped with 2 pieces of metal vibration dampeners attached to it (ea sy to take it out but very tricky to put it back). So if someone has an enlarger with a fan and have suspicion about vibration I suggest to check it out because either the rubberized frame was broken or the vibration dampeners was missing.. ..

How about springs or some other form of vibration damping. If you have to do a retrofit, I'd think that springs and rubber studs would be easiest.
