Epson 700 bed is filmy?

My Epson 700 scanner bed is ilmy on the inside of the glass. I need to clean the glass on the inside. Somewhere I read instructions on how to remove the bed glass and re install it after it has been cleaned.
Does anyone have a link for this procedure?

Photographers that smoke have this problem... i once apprenticed with a photographer that was a chimney. I had to periodically take the lenses apart and clean them as well as all the glass, like contact printer ect.. I occasionally buy lenses off ebay that are in bad need of cleaning the tar, nicotine and i suspect cannabis off the glass surfaces..... There are a lot of environmental contaminants floating around the glass seems to attract. I clean my scanner glass every 6 months.... i evenly torque the top back on the Epson 750s to keep them even on the scanner.... 7 inch pounds each ...this also keeps me from "loosing focus" on the scanner bed.
