    11x14 Film Group Purchase

Is anybody interested in participating in a "group purchase" of 11x14 TMax 100, Kodak E6 or C41 film from Jeff at Badger?

Jeff says that Kodak needs a $10K to $15K commitment before making a special run.

    Your thoughts?

    robert,

if someone wants say 7x11, would big K be able to center slit each sheet ?
would tmy ( 400 ) be an option ? tmx ( 100 ) has the dreaded uv block.

    thanks
    john

I might be interested in TMY too, depending on price, and on C41.

I'm interested, albeit not for a large quantity.

I'd be interested in color film, particularly Portra 160NC.

I'd take anything, I guess. I'm hoping to have my 11x14 up and running sometime, and will need film for it.

Jason, you can buy 11x14 HP5 Plus off the shelf at B&H. You can also usually buy 11x14 Efke PL100 off the shelf from Freestyle, though at the moment they say they're out of stock with the next delivery expected 9/15.

Robert's query was specifically about special orders for some emulsions that are not normally stocked in 11x14. If a special order does happen, the price per sheet will be much higher than for either HP5 Plus or PL100.

For those interested, yesterday I asked Jeff at Badgfer to secure from Kodak a price and quantity required for 11x14 in 160NC and the new Ektar. I have a potential buyer in China for a good quantity so perhaps this will happen. B&W is cool but so it is color negative.

    If interested, PLEASE chime in.

I already knew what B&H carries. However, I was hoping for some other iso options. I want something fast to help me achieve a higher f-stop for better DOF.
