Well, The Sale-room have checked the bidding log and have confirmed that my bid was registered and accepted well before the auctioneer at SAS ended the bidding. Which means, nothing - apart from the fact that bidding through internet is a dicey affair and the screen monitoring skills need to be improved or the room/internet co-ordination system needs an overhaul.

So the selling price for the 9" Port-Land was around 602usd.

yes, this is the second auction running that they've had problems with the bidding platform - when it happens they work very hard to get it back up and running

So I've been looking for a B&L Sigmar for years, and then I go to Belize for 6 weeks for research, only to come back to find that not one but TWO Sigmars came and went on the 'Bay during that time. One is the 19" already reported here, and the other being one hell of a beautiful 16" that went for $1295 BIN, item #271738170991.

I always read and thought that scratches or blemishes on the rear element is bad.
On the front, not so much.
Though, me personally, I want the best condition as possible.
