Definitely!
This is a lens I bought a few years ago on an auction site (not ebay) for a great deal less. It has been fun to own, although using and loaning out a mint (unused?) condition lens is very nerve racking. I will continue to check old 20's and 30's German/Scandinavian literature to see whether more of the Oscar Zwierzina "story" becomes available.
It is going to an organisation which will give lots of people a chance to try it out.
If anyone is on the lookout for a Plasticca, it could be the 3 recent sales will bring more out of the woodwork! There were an unusual large number of l'Eidoscopes on offer for a period.
Oh - I didn't realize it was your lens Steven...
I have then known about you a lot longer than from in here....
If anyone still needs disks for the 200 to 300mm Imagon we found some when we did the final inventory at Marflex prior to transferring all of the repair parts for Linhof, Wista, Rodenstock, Copal and Compur to Nippon Photoclinic in Manhattan.
I do not have a listing of which accessories are there but there were disks for those lenses.
My favorite thing about that Oscar Zwierzina Plasticca was the Art Deco type on the label of the box!
Inclined to agree with you! The huge pressed fiber pill box is cheap, but effective and still fits perfectly - and the label shows real design. Dresden in the 1920/1930s.
Does this mean I was the winner of an auction where you were active, Emil?I have then known about you a lot longer than from in here....
