A 16" P&S was sold on eBay for about 5k a few months ago. Another 16" P&S without aperture ring sat on eBay for over a year just under 4K, unsold and withdrawn from listing a few weeks ago.

Any ideas guys on how to configure an aperture for this lens? Or any leads on Godzilla's shutter..lol..
I know Dallmeyer D is not usually considered as a soft focus lens. But an 8D was sold at $22,899 today on eBay. Seller must be thrilled.
Tin Can
A fairly slow lens, not that difficult of a focal length to get in large process or recon lenses. Must have been the rarity factor, and the Dallmeyer name. I wish my 47" Hermagis was as popular!

In other large Petzval eBay action, a Ross No. 5, went for $6,300. (eBay item number:184748608832)
Back in the soft focus realm, a Cooke PS 945 went for $5,202, (+$125 s&h). A rare phenomenon, where a reproduction of a classic lens is worth more than an original example, but then, it's coated in a modern shutter. (eBay item number: 294099712030)
Meanwhile, a lowly-but-lovely 12-inch Velostigmat Series II with the soft focus adjustment went for $161.50. I'd put the results from the Wolly right alongside those from the Cooke, but some lenses just don't get no respect...

Seems like the soft lenses are holding their values well. A Graf Variable Soft Focus Anastigmat (9.5-11 inch) went for $1555 (+15 s&h). (#294217399084)
Meanwhile, a 12-inch Ilex Paragon with the variable soft focus (a direct clone of the Velostigmat Series II with the variable soft focus) went for $1,028 (+$17 s&h). (#294215894972)
And a 10" f/4.5 Rembrandt Portrait Lens (really just a standard Tessar from Burke & James, but with that fancy name engraved on the front ring) went for $541 (+17 s&h). (#294215872123)
And a Gundlach 8x10 Hyperion Diffusion (mislabeled as a 20-inch, it's really a 14-inch) went for $1700. (#313544966174)

Wow looks like I need to up the price for my 19" Eidoscope #1.
