Thanks Hugo, it was my first time out with LF + model, and my first time with a nude model since about 1978... !

I thought I'd see what all the hoopla was about, but really it was an excuse to test out the lens

Sarah is a bad ass ;-) One of the first people I shot with too, taught me a lot.

I figured someone would recognize her. She did teach me a thing or two about pacing and watching the light while watching the model! She just happened to be in the neighborhood

I love the way she morphs from a tiny wisp of a woman into a tanned bruiser like this photo (no offense I hope... I love this photo).

I was grabbing a film holder during our shoot and looked up to see (on the ground glass) her leaning casually against the tree, like she was waiting for a bus, and wished I could have grabbed the shot. It was (in my mind) an exquisite moment... mine alone, I guess.

She said she was discontinuing travel, so I may never get to work with her again. I probably won't be doing that much work with figures, but then who knows the future?

Ah she went 7-8 years longer than most models and bought a house / supported a son with the money. Considering her prospects, she did really well for herself through her modeling. Especially compared to a few of the self-destructive models I've met.

the wide lens with the elevated camera position fit very well the model. he looks like a shy gitar player...
    unusual and very interesting.
