Lubrication of Enlarger

Just bought an old D II Omega and have cleaned up the tracks, etc. What, if any , is the best lubricant for this enlarger??

I seem to recall someone saying they used a very thin (use a wipe to put it on) layer of vaseline.

I use silicon grease. Works very well.
