Need to know lens board size?

Hello,,

I'm having a hard time finding what size lens board the Chamonix 045N-2 4x5" camera takes..

Is it the same size and thickness as the Sinar lens boards..?

Steve, The Chamonix 4x5 cameras use Linhof-type boards. The camera's first version did not hold some boards securely - more than one forum participant lost or damaged a lens because of the board-locking mechanism. Information about the new version suggests that this problem has been rectified. Perhaps someone can report on the change and whether or not Linhof-type boards of various thicknesses are held securely.

Hello Eric,

I was gonna say Linhof made more then one size lens board. I bought a sheet of teak plywood and was gonna start making some bd's

Guess I'll just wait for the camera to show up
