    Thanks everyone!
Although it's quite a deviation from my usual image-making, I have been really enjoying working in this style.
This is my new favorite Image Sharing thread, Anybody have some to share?? I'd like to see more of these SF landscapes.

Here's another image I took from the same area. A long time ago, this was part of a sandstone quarry.

This is just spectacular. How different from all the run of the mill we see these days. Bravo.

We have a tough go in the desert. No trees to mess with the light. No water for reflections. Lots of sage brush though.

    Thanks to you both!

Jim - I'd like to try photographing in the desert some time, never been to that part of the country.
JP - Yep, same lens / camera. I have more to post, just need to get the scanner fired up again. I'm heading up to Lake Superior for a long weekend, hopefully I'll have more to post next week!

The lack of snow around here is kind of disappointing.
Here is a soft focus photo from a few days ago. It's an old fishing shack on the north shore of Lake Superior.

Another great one Adam. You should do a book or exhibit with these.

How did you set it to 15? I thought it only went to 5? Did you remove the stop screw? :-)
