What discontinued product do you miss the most?

I have given some thought to this, and appreciate the question. In fifty-plus years as a photographer, I have seen many of my favorite materials discontinued, and fine equipment suffer a similar fate.

However, growing with the refinements of the medium, and acknowledging the inevitable changes, I can not say that I miss anything. I can only speak for silver photography, and its evolution in my lifetime; a time where it was paramount to my livlihood and my artistic expression.

Many here, have witnessed the loss of discontinued products; but there have always been materials to fuel the endeavor, as long as the passion burns. I believe that the demise of old, and birth of new silver materials will be a pattern well into the future.

Somewhere along the way someone mentioned Ilford Galerie. It's still being produced; at least Freestyle still has it. This is assuming there wasn't some earlier, better version.

I miss Kodak Polycontrast Fine Art. Really nice stuff.

All this reminds me of a joke they tell here in Charleston (we're known for living in the past to some degree).

Q: How many Charlestonians does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Three. One to change the bulb, one to pour the bourbon, and one to comment on how much better the old one was.

I already tried this paper, wich is remarkable, no doubt! Adox sent me some sheets even before they release the product, to colect my opinion about it. I think it is even better than the original Agfa MCC 111. However, I still miss agfa paper, because it was much cheaper than Adox, Rollei Vintage 111 or other similar papers.

Now I'm using Fomabrom 111 wich is a nice FB paper and delivers good results as long as we don't forget to tone it with 1:20 selenium. It is really cheap.

let's bother fuji until they release an instant film that does what type 55 did
maybe it will even fit in polaroid holders(give me an excuse to get a 545pro).
