Blue Granite
Another from my Alabama Hills trip early last week. This was a sheet of Provia shot in deep shadow with a blue sky overhead. I did not use a warming filter and the presentation closely matches the chrome (desaturated the blues from the scan, actually).

I like both of these. The detail in the tree bark and rockface are very nice. For my taste, I would like to see more blue in both, perhaps a darker image up top by .35-.5 stops, while increasing exposure by a similar amount to the bottom. Just my thoughts for what they are worth (not much perhaps).
Keep them coming Harley. They are always thought provoking and show a keen eye.
