Thanks Jonathan. I'm glad you said that, because I think it's the best thing I've done in awhile, and I would have been bummed if no one else liked it. Unfortunately, it doesn't translate too well to the small screen; there are thousand of little bubbles of condensation that disappear at this scale. Oh well-when that Wealthy Patron finally comes to rescue me, I'll blow it up Rothko-size and people can stand before it in wonder and/or horror. :-)

Thank you Harley. It's a picture of your head. OK OK, while that is true, it is also true that it's a greenhouse. Hard to believe, but behind that sheet are rows and rows of rhododendrons. I actually met the nursery owner and he kindly allowed me free reign. I made quite a few variants of stuff like this, and also a picture of an amazing mountain of empty flower pots. I have high hopes for that one, but I haven't seen the negative yet. Thanks again!

Saw this one on Facebook, Austin. It looks much better bigger here. Amazing shot. You're on a tear, man.

Thanks Jan. And thanks Pete. I'm not sure about the tear though. Lately, I feel like I'm trying to wring blood from a stone. This weather has been helping though. I didn't see snow until I was eighteen, so all these years later it's still somewhat exciting for me. I found a great frozen field the other day and photographed like mad. We'll see...

Frozen Field with Greenhouse, Canby, Oregon

Yeah, not really abstract, but I never know where to put stuff.

Thanks, but you are aware that forever is a pretty long time, right?

That foreground is nuts! Bravo to you for getting out in the cold--that photo gives me the chills just looking at it.

Thanks, Harley. I shot this in color, too. I'll be curious how that one looks when it comes back from the lab.
