I cross-processed Provia once, the older emulsion though. It came out crazy, the sky was bright neon pink!! I like the colors Jonathan, they are unique, from the xprocess, but still close enough to reality to just look interesting rather than strange. That's the best balance for that kind of processing, IMO.

I don't do much cross processing, but this film was so expired that I figured why not try. The last round of old Provia I had processed straight E-6 came out with mottled color shifts anyway, so I was curious to see what the cross processing did to it. I agree, the colors are close enough to reality without being cartoonish, but it did make true color balancing almost impossible. I'm OK with that.
