I forgot to wind to the next exposer. Taken on a Yashica-D at the Griffith Observatory. So mad at myself.

I placed the film in a prewash, got distracted, and walked away to take care of something else. The film sat idle in a prewash for 10-15 minutes.
I like the effect in this image but have no plans of repeating it.

A classic beginner's 4x5 mistake - a double exposure, taken months apart. I quite like it anyway.

When I went to replace the dark slide on this one, I felt it catch on the film. Uh-oh! I just jammed the dark slide harder and hoped for the best, and when I removed the holder, didn't see the film sticking out! The film got quite a hard wrinkle in it, thus the sharp diagonal starting about 1/4 of the way down on the left, but I'll just pretend it was an artistic statement on the ephemeral nature of life or something like that.

The mistake I made here was in not understanding where the risk lay.
This frame was made near Bombay. The next day I left for Delhi and then on to Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing and returning to Barcelona via Abu Dhabi.
So I counted atleast 6 x-ray machines to negotiate around.

I chose to courrier the film back to Barcelona from Delhi. And customs in Spain opened the box despite lots of labels and warnings on the package.
The risk was not from the x-ray machines. As it turns out, they are VERY understanding about film in China.

    I like it!

It looks intentional, and offers an interesting perspective on the subject.
