How do you clean a laminated print?

I have a 40 x 50 inch print that I made when I worked at a big lab. Friends in the mounting department put it on gatorfoam and put a clear laminate over the top.

Years of grungy living have made their mark on the surface of the laminate. What's the best way to clean it? the buildup seems too greasy for water to make a dent in, but I don't want to cause any harm with the wrong kind of cleaner.

Paul, try contacting the well-respected photo conservator Tram Vo in Los Angeles: 310-613-1091- I'm sure she could point you in the right direction.

I've used Windex and a soft cotten cloth with success on prints that are on display in factory enviroments.
