Hi ladies and gents,
I wonder if you would be so kind as to look at the following images and pass comment on them. What do you like about them and what turns you off about them.

Interesting idea. I think the first one works very well, mostly because the off-centeredness of the array is more subdued. To me the 2nd and 3rd efforts have the feeling of forcing the viewer to concentrate on certain features, while the first offers a more generous amount of context. Also, balancing of forces - the 2nd and 3rd are a bit top heavy, while the 1st seems more harmonized.
I'm wondering what I'm looking at here. Are these composited digitally, or is this a scan of a contact print, or what? I would be interested in your technique if you contact printed them.
If these were single images, would they be more or less attractive to you as the photographer ?
Are these intended to be interesting ? beautiful ? instructive ? documentary ? entertaining ?
Some of us strive towards beauty - and are curious about the inspiration of other photographers.
Fun images and good lighting. Why are you amputating and re-arranging the highway/bridges? Not that they don't deserve it .

I've done this type of stuff in the past, usually using two or three images, so I very much like what you are doing on a larger scale. Keep going.
Thanks for the kind comments so far.
The original idea was that because highways link cities and towns etc they could also 'link' pictures. The idea developed from there. I wanted to contact print them onto silver paper and hopefully have some overlap. Unfortunately it didnt work out as I planned.
So these images are what I have at the moment. Scanned negs digitally composed.
I think they're brilliant.. Especially the first one, the composition is perfect..
I thought I would photograph my driveway over the little hill to my home before the expected 5 to 6 inches of rain this week, washes it away. Efke 50 1/15sec @ f32 270 G Claron.

P.S. I have no idea where the strange color came from. It doesn't show up on the print. It must be this X#$%^ scanner.
