Lens panel for Schneider Componon 150mm f5.6

    Hello folks
Once again, I would welcome some advice. I have just acquired a Schneider Componon-S 150mm f5.6 enlarging lens. It seems to have a 49mm thread. Which Durst Siriopla panel do I need, or is there an alternative ? I have a Durst Laborator 138.

    Any help welcomed.

    Thanks

I just got a Lapla 42 in the mail yesterday for my 150 Componon-s. Are you sure yours is not a 50mm mount? I think they came in 42 and 50.

It may be useful to know that the threads are the same as those used on the T-1 and T-2 universal mount adapter thingies. The threads on the 42mm mount lens are NOT the same pitch as those on the Pentax M42 screw mount. I used the threaded ring from a spare Nikon-T-2 type adapter thingy as a retaining ring for my 150mm Componon-S with the 42mm mount.

Contact KHB Photografix. That's where I got my lens mounts (among other accessories) from, and they were a pleasure to deal with. If they can help you, they will.
    They're not cheap, though.

My 150mm Componon-S has a 42mm thread, which, as Brad said, is not the same pitch as the standard M42 camera mount. I got a 42mm retaining ring of the correct pitch from KHB, too.

Once again, I am very impressed at how helpful people are to newcomers in this absorbing branch of photography.

    Thanks again.

Resurecting an old thread, because of the same question.
I measured the diameter of the threads of my Componon-S 150/5.6 and the outer diameter of the threads appears to be about 50mm.
How does that match up with a 42mm thread?
Are there perhaps 2 versions of the lens, one with a 42mm thread and another with a 50mm thread?

I see there is a Lapla 42 and Lapla 50. I was thinking that my 150 would use the Lapla 50

If you look closely at the un-dated Schneider PDF that starts off with the phrase "weil das Objectiv entscheidet (because the lens decides)" it states that the 150mm Componon-S was available in M42x .75 and M50 x .75 mounting threads.
