How much does an 8x10 Kodak 2D go for?

I am looking to buy an 8x10 Kodak 2D and want to know about how much it is going to cost. Any ideas? Thanks!

I've owned two, both cost about $400, one bought about seven years ago, the other about four years ago. The first one was probably the nicest, cleanest, most mint 2D in the world, I'm still kicking myself for selling it. I had Richard Ritter add front tilt to the first one because I use that movement a lot and missed having it. That added about $250 to the cost of the camera.

Both of mine included the rear rail extension and the sliding tripod block. I wouldn't buy a 2D without both accessories unless you were certain that you'd never want to use a lens longer than roughly 300mm - 400mm with the camera. Many of the 2Ds you see don't have these accessories, they tended to get lost over the years.

I think the 2D is one of the great values in LF cameras if they still sell for about what I paid for mine.

Heather... replied to your other thread. I have a nice one I'll make a better than fair deal for... I need the cash. It has everything included and (I think) a 4x5 reducing back too.
