Jess & Chloe (Chloe is the quadruped) from about 8 years ago.
Iris from last summer using an old Petzval. I posted this in a "Portraits" thread a while back.
I was composing a shot when I heard this coyote in the grass behind me. So I simply swung my camera around and snapped a shot. Moments later, he pulled a rodent out of the ground, swallowed it whole, and trotted back into the screen of trees.
I think his hunger brought him into the field – he didn’t seem too curious about me or my tripod.

Ok! I've been waiting for this category. One of my first 4X5 shots, with a basic calumet, around 1975. I'm just getting back into it after a 30 yr hiatus.
Had to try to photograph my rabbits with Toyo monorail camera yesterday
They were somewhat sleepy so I could focus and take a picture. The angle where picture is taken from is not a perfect, but I could not go lower - they would came instantly and lick the front element of my camera's lens... Or eat the lens hood
Some practicing and prefocusing and perhaps I could take a portrait in the living room.
4x5 ADOX CHS 50 Art, Toyo-View and Symmar 5.6/300 @f/8.
Some great shots in here, I am especially fond of Michael W's shot.
I have a recent shot to add, of our Ragdoll Merlin. I thought this shot was a loss after scanning with Vuescan, but upon the installation of the OEM Epson software it scanned fine, go figure.
2nd shot is of Kira, a Burmese. There are some newton rings in the scan as I had to scan it directly on the glass, because the film holder cropped the tip of her paw.
