travelling in India with 4x5 and it is a PITA that every time you encounter a building with a good vantage point, some stupid watch man - understanding nothing of what you are saying btw - stand in you way waving his hands "permission... permission... permission".
Try using the international green coloured private 'permission' payment paper.

I just wanted to congratulate everyone on the great images posted here in the last few days; very good stuff! I have to put Tokyo on my list of places to go to now :-)

    Cheers,

    Fantastic!

Is this the hotel where they had to made modification because the reflection was catching things on fire and sunburning people badly?

I don't know about that... I got hooked from their TV commercial... the music is haunting. Also haunting... when I took this photo it was freezing and WINDY! Seems they have created a wind tunnel at City Center. As these are probably the tallest building on the Strip there is a funnel effect. Most of the rooms in these hotels have balconies... the wind creates this haunting (and loud) whistling type noise. Kind of like standing next to a Saguaro when it's a little breezy, only much magnified.

When I was 16 I thought my father the stupidest man in the world; when I reached 21, I was astounded by how much he had learned in just 5 years!
