I really like this one. And I love the Nikkor-M 300 to boot.

    Cheers,

I really like this shot a lot. For me it has somewhat an enigmatic feel and nice composition.

One little town to visit in North Carolina is Marshall, located in western part of the state near the Tennessee border. It is located along the banks of the French Broad River as it flows west. The Madison County Courthouse, built in 1907 is located here. I photographed the courthouse several times over the years, this time using lens from a casket set just purchased from CP Goerz here at LFF. I was surprised with the good results. The Danforth uncorked, that I have used many times, is a little soft. The new Wollaston just purchased 135mm lens modified to cover 5x7 is very soft shot wide open at F2.3. All photographs were taken without moving my tripod.

    Camera – Speed Graflex 4x5
Lens - Gasket set with 25/15 lens, results 4 inch F5.5 lens
Lens – Danforth Wide Angle uncorked at F5.6
Lens - Wollaston Mod Meniscus 135mm to cover 5x7 at F2.3
    Film – Ilford HP 4 processed in HC-110 50/1
