Sometimes I wonder if we should have a "Suburbia" thread, for places which aren't the big city, but also aren't "old things and barns." Anyway, two more from Madison NJ. First a tiny local luncheonette, a trailer sized building which has gone through a few iterations in the 30 years I've lived here:

Second, the "in town" pharmacy, the building looks "oldish," meaning early 1900s, not the "George Washington Slept Here" structures nearby:

From the Botanical Garden (a park) in Aarhus, Denmark. This is one of the less frequented corners of the park...

Shake Shack, what a name! And I absolutely love your image of it. Would you let me know where in NYC this is?

    Peter

Thanks, Peter! Shake Shack is kind of an institution here in NYC even though they've only been open for like 10 years. They started as a tiny food stand in the park and now have multiple locations - although we only frequent this one. It's such a nice place to have a beer and burger/fries. It's in Madison Square Park right by the Flatiron Building (23rd St. and Broadway.)
