[QUOTE=Peter Lewin;1168954]The next is my re-do of the Freedom Tower framed by the lamp posts/lights on the Liberty State Park docks. This time I was paying more attention to the way the lamp posts fit into the frame.

It's been awhile since I said "Wow!" out loud in my office but this one did it. The shapes are a joy, as is the tonal difference between the lamp posts and the skyline. I also like the juxtaposition between the gleaming new posts and skyscrapers with the old pilings. A really 'alive' photograph.

As an upstanding member of the Portland School, I approve of this photo. Seriously Isaac, this is great. It's graphically strong, but also a thoughtful meditation on nature. Just look at that poor office plant straining to get free! :-)

Thanks! I've also noticed in retrospect that the green bricks right on the corner look like a tree trunk and the tree in the background looks like a continuation of the office plant.

Corran, Austin: Again, many thanks for the kind words. Because of the quality of the work both of you post regularly, it means a lot to me.
