Jonathan,
You've been showing a lot of these Aero-Ektar images lately, and I never tire of them.
They are very pleasing, in a quiet way; kudos.

Ari,
That's very kind of you to say, thank you. I'll keep posting them as long as I keep shooting them. I really enjoy the Aero-Ektar when shot in this fashion. Every time I go downtown I come up with something I like; I just need to do it more often!

I like it better as is, without the camera level. Also really like the way you've used out-of-focus areas. Between the two I think you've obtained a really unusual urban landscape, more interesting than if it had been the typical "parallel lines, everything sharp from front to back" LF photograph.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you do criticize them you'll be
a mile away and you'll have their shoes.
Thanks, Brian. I do try to use severe tilt/swing/shift to enhance the image and not just for effect. Sometimes, though, I see the result and think, "That scene didn't need any swing at all." Knowing when to use it and when not is the hard part. Here I liked the way the lamp post at the top of the bridge was in focus as well as the middle of the street below. It adds to the sense of scale for me.
