Tom Westbrook is looking into it. He is our moderator/tech guy.
    Thanks,

The last couple of days, it's been terrible. Reading the forum is snappy, but it inhibits posting when it takes 2 minutes to post a reply.

Barry, try this: after posting and waiting 30 seconds or so... click your browser refresh. Nine times out of ten this has resulted in a "Can't post the same reply twice" message. Just to be safe I generally copy my post before doing this just in case I need to paste it into the 'reply to thread' box again.

Thanks Brian--I'll try that. It's a strange problem because the forum loads so quickly--it doesn't seem like general server overload, although maybe the posting requests get pushed to the bottom of the queue compared to serving pages.

If certain posters react this way (not you, Barry), it's a good thing that makes the wait worthwhile for others.

I am off for the holidays. Could one or more of you guys send this information to all the moderators ("contact us" below) and let them know this is still happening. Tom Weatbrook in particular needs to know. Thanks.
    Thanks,
    Kirk
